Midwest Paramedical's team is composed of the best of the best examiners. We have made a team of all the legendary examiners that our clients have come to know and love over the years.
What sets us apart?
- No participation minimums or quotas.
- No Gap fees for employees who miss their screening appointment.
- Every examiner is supplied with privacy screens and are provided free of charge to the client.
Employees who miss their wellness event have the option of a home visit by one of our examiners (pricing varies upon location), visiting our office in Anoka, MN (with evenings and weekends available), scheduling a make up day in the event of multiple employees miss the screening or ordering a home kit to take to their personal primary physician.
Testing includes a metabolic panel (the breakdown of cholesterol), liver, kidneys and glucose. Additional tests can be added such as PSA (prostate), TSH (Thyroid) and others. A complete list will be included in your packet. Extra tests can be paid for by the employer or through payroll deductions.
Biometrics include Height, Weight, Blood Pressure. Additional measurements can be added such as BMI (Body Mass Index), Pulse, Waist, Neck and Body Fat %.
Participants will be able to access and track their results year after year with our online portal.
Nutrition coaching programs are available in an individual appointment format, as well as a group format with several program options to choose from, varying on employer needs. Our nutritionist are knowledgeable and cater to the individuality of the participant with various approaches to nutrition based upon the participant's lifestyle and goals.
Physical Fitness trainers - offered as individual sessions or group sessions. Tips and plans based upon ability and individual lifestyle. Our trainers offer advice for clients that do not require gym memberships and can be easily accomplished within their environment. In addition, our trainers also offer ergonomics, taught in group sessions. These sessions include correct lifting styles, twisting styles, standing plans, sitting plans and ways to avoid injury and carpal tunnel.
